PAM Aniónico (APAM)

Ideal para suspensiones inorgánicas: arcilla, relaves mineros, lavado de carbón. Excelente en sistemas alcalinos (pH 7-10). Se usa frecuentemente como ayudante de coagulación con PAC/PFS.

PAM Catiónico (CPAM)

Para deshidratación de lodos municipales, aguas residuales de alimentos, fabricación de papel. Eficaz en sistemas ácidos (pH 4-7). La selección del grado catiónico es clave: 10-20% para papel, 30-50% para lodos municipales, 50-80% para lodos orgánicos difíciles.

PAM No Iónico (NPAM)

Para sistemas muy ácidos (pH 2-5), agua de alta salinidad, drenaje ácido de minas. Es el tipo más tolerante químicamente.
