How the calculation works
Use the same concentration basis for stock and target values. The calculator returns the stock volume needed and the amount of diluent required to reach the selected final volume.

Limits and responsible use
The simple dilution equation assumes additive volumes and no reaction, precipitation, evaporation, density change, or purity correction. Never mix incompatible chemicals. For laboratory or treatment work, follow an approved procedure and add chemicals in the prescribed order.
