1. Identity of the Service Provider

These Terms of Service govern your use of the hydrochemix.com website (the “Service”) operated by Shijiazhuang HydroChemix Trading Co., Ltd. (the “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, People’s Republic of China.

The Service is a B2B commerce and information platform. It enables industrial buyers, water utilities, and engineering contractors to (i) obtain product specifications and technical information about water treatment chemistry, (ii) request quotations and free samples, (iii) communicate with the Company’s sales and technical staff, and (iv) order commercial shipments of the products listed on the Service.

The Service is offered to businesses and to individuals acting in a professional capacity. It is not offered to consumers acting in a personal or household capacity. By accessing the Service you confirm that you are acting in a professional or business capacity.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Effective” date at the top of this page indicates when the current version came into force.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and acting in a professional capacity to use the quotation, sample request, or contact features. You confirm that any organization you purport to represent has authorized you to act on its behalf when you submit forms.

4. Account and Form Submissions

Certain features require you to provide contact and company information. You agree that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete, and that you will update it if it changes. You are responsible for the confidentiality of any email correspondence with us and for activity occurring under your email address.

5. Commercial Terms — How a Quotation Becomes a Contract

1. Quotation (PI / Proforma Invoice). Our sales team issues a Proforma Invoice specifying product, grade, quantity, unit price, Incoterms 2020, payment terms, lead time, and validity period (standard 30 days).
2. Acceptance. You confirm the PI in writing (email is sufficient) and pay the deposit (standard 30% T/T; alternative terms available for repeat buyers and letters of credit).
3. Production. Production begins after cleared deposit. Estimated lead time is stated on the PI. We will inform you of any delay beyond 5 business days.
4. Pre-shipment. A signed Certificate of Analysis (COA) for the actual batch is sent for your approval before shipment. Third-party pre-shipment inspection (SGS / Intertek / BV) is welcome at your cost.
5. Shipment. Goods are shipped per the agreed Incoterm. Title and risk pass at the Incoterm handover point.
6. Balance payment. Balance is due per the PI terms (standard 70% T/T against B/L copy).

6. Pricing and Currency

All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices exclude destination-country import duties, taxes, and clearance fees unless explicitly stated otherwise on the PI.

7. Product Specifications and Documentation

• Technical Data Sheet (TDS) values are typical and not contractual unless confirmed on the PI.
• COA values for the actual shipped batch are contractual.
• Safety Data Sheet (SDS) is supplied in English (16-section GHS format).
• NSF/ANSI 60, HALAL, KOSHER, REACH, ISO 9001 certificates are available on request and supplied when stated on the PI.

8. Returns, Refunds, and Disputes

• Goods supplied per a confirmed PI are non-returnable except for verified quality defects.
• If a verified quality defect is found, we will, at our election, replace the defective goods or refund the price paid for those goods.
• You must notify the Company in writing within 14 days of receipt of goods for this clause to apply.
• Disputes are first attempted to be resolved by good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 60 days, disputes are submitted to the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) Shijiazhuang sub-commission, arbitration in English, award final and binding.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including text, product specifications, photographs, diagrams, and software — is owned by the Company or its licensors. You may view and download a single copy of materials for personal or internal business reference. You may not republish, redistribute, or commercially exploit the content without our prior written consent.

10. User Submissions

Where the Service allows you to post reviews, comments, or other content (“User Submissions”), you retain ownership of your User Submissions but grant the Company a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and display such User Submissions in connection with the Service. You confirm that you have the right to post any User Submission and that it does not violate the rights of any third party or any law.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., LinkedIn profiles, SGS, ISO certification bodies). We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content or practices of any third-party websites. We encourage you to read their terms and privacy policies.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. The Company’s total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to a confirmed commercial contract is capped at the amount paid by you for the goods in question.

13. Disclaimer

The information on the Service is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute technical advice for a specific application. While we strive to keep the information up to date, we make no representations or warranties as to its completeness or accuracy. For application-specific technical decisions, please use our free jar-test support or on-site compatibility testing service.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users or the Company.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
