Textile Industry Wastewater Treatment Solutions
The textile industry produces some of the most challenging industrial wastewater. Hydrochemix provides proven chemical solutions for textile effluent treatment plants worldwide.
Textile Wastewater Challenges
- Reactive dyes, disperse dyes, vat dyes in effluent
- COD ranging from 800 to 8,000 mg/L
- High suspended solids from fiber and fabric residues
- pH variation from 4 to 12 depending on process stage
- High temperature (40-70C) in many discharge streams
Hydrochemix Treatment Program
Primary Treatment: PAC Coagulation
Our spray-dried PAC 30% achieves superior color removal (90-99% for most reactive dyes) through charge neutralization and sweep coagulation. Typical dosage: 200-800 mg/L depending on dye concentration.
Secondary Treatment: PAM Flocculation
Cationic PAM with medium-high charge density enhances floc formation and settling velocity. Combined with PAC, it achieves COD reduction of 60-85%.
Tertiary Polishing
For zero liquid discharge (ZLD) compliance or water reuse applications, our chemicals are compatible with MBR, activated carbon, and advanced oxidation processes.
Case Study: Vietnamese Denim Manufacturer
- Flow: 3,000 m3/day, Influent COD: 2,000-4,000 mg/L
- PAC dosage: 400 mg/L, Cationic PAM: 2 mg/L
- Results: 82% COD reduction, 95% color removal, sludge volume reduced by 35%
